Target: The last of the unreached
Jan 14, 2021
In 1999, I, Ethan*, became CP as a young single man the IMB sent to an unreached people group in Thailand. That began my CP journey. The faithful giving of Southern Baptists has more than sustained me over the years.
In 2007, now as a family, we entered a new ministry in a new country, a country closed years before. Now we are seeing churches planted and lives changed.
Serving in the same city for the past 13 years has allowed our family to develop long- lasting relationships. They benefit us in the government offices, allow us to have long-term relationships with our landlord — we feel like we are part of her family. The list goes on …
Being your representative of the CP allows you to reach into villages through us that you may never have a chance to visit. We are able to send our national partners to places that we are not able to go ourselves, even though we have lived here for years.
Ten years ago there were no known believers in the K minority people group. Through our being able to live here and meet people from this people group, now there are believers and house churches popping up in a restricted hard-to-reach area. Please continue to pray for the K people group, for solid discipleship and endurance during persecution.
We are in the final days. The last 50 or so people groups in our country have been listed and are targeted for outreach. Pray for local workers and international missionaries to join us in the task of serving the last of the unreached.
We are Ethan and Jasmine Chase*, and we are the CP.
Because you and your church give, You are the CP.
