Gateway Arizona adds locations

Feb 27, 2017

The Arizona Campus of Gateway Seminary began 2017 tallying up several encouraging steps of progress.

There are 96 students enrolled for the spring semester. Some classrooms have been enlarged to accommodate increasing enrollment, and some administrative space has been enlarged to better serve students’ needs.

Two more Learning Centers have been opened — Payson and Las Vegas —in addition to the classes that have been previously offered in two locations beyond the Scottsdale campus: North Phoenix and Lake Havasu City.

Several new elective courses have been introduced, supplementing the basic required curriculum:

–Biblical Manhood and Sexual Purity, taught by Dallas Bivins.

–Old Testament Biblical Literature, dealing with the writings and poetry of the Old Testament, taught by Greg Kappas.

–Ministering in Crisis Situations, taught by Roger Daniels.

Gateway Arizona offers three master’s degrees (Divinity, Theological Studies, Educational Leadership). There is also a diploma option (Theology or Education) for the non-college graduate. A certificate is also offered (Church Planting or Bible Teaching).
