Restored to Bring Restoration to Others
Mar 31, 2016
At a time when most church planters are looking for the trendy places to plant a church, Isaac Aviles has chosen the road less traveled by going to a poor community where people are just trying to survive.
Many years ago, Isaac once was lonely and empty himself and filled his life with worthless things that didn’t satisfy.
But then Isaac met Jesus.
A co-worker led him to Christ, and now he has started a church in order to restore others. Restored people — in Christ — restore others.
“A father to the fatherless and a defender of the widows,
Is God in His holy dwelling place.”
— Psalm 68:5
Isaac and his wife, Griselda, opened Westridge Ministerio Hispano in Phoenix on July 8, 2014, and they are already making inroads into the neighborhood:
- reaching out to those who are hungry for Christ and whose fractured families need restoration,
- reaching out with encouragement to those drifting without covering,.
- reaching out to those who have come from faraway places like Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and even Ecuador.
This is Isaac’s first church plant, and your church’s support through the Cooperative Program means the opportunity to grow exponentially in his faith and in leadership.
Isaac Aviles is making a difference.
Isaac and Griselda Aviles are the CP.
Because you and your church give, You are the CP.
