Alex and Rachel Dennis
The communities of Asante and Desert Oasis, just north of Surprise, Arizona, are home to roughly 13,000 people and are expected to grow to as many as 65,000 people by the year 2035. Until recently, there have been no evangelical churches in this growing area.
That changed in 2019 when Alex and Rachel Dennis, along with their two daughters, moved from Texas to plant Asante Church. Since then, their church has grown to more than 100 people and they have been able to baptize many of their friends and neighbors.
